Welcome to the 2025-2026 School Year!
KCSD Transportation Info You Need to Know
Hello KCSD Families!
We are so excited and looking forward to welcoming your students back for another great year in the Keystone Central School District. Whether your student is brand new to riding the bus or a seasoned pro, we have some important updates and reminders to make sure everyone has a safe and smooth ride.
Bus Stop Requests and Reminders
❖Secondary stops – All secondary stop requests must be submitted every year. They do not carry over. Find the Transportation Request form on the KCSD website and send the completed form to the Transportation Office.
❖Assigned Stops and Routes – Students may only ride their assigned bus and must use their designated bus stop. Stop locations may change each year.
❖Deadline for requests - Transportation forms are due by August 1, 2025. Requests made after August 2 may not be ready for the first day of school.
NOTE: No transportation changes or additions will be made during the first two weeks of school.
Bus stops unused for 10 consecutive days may be removed. Contact the transportation office to reactivate the stop. It may take 1-2 business days to process.
For Our Youngest Riders (Grades K-4)
An adult must be present at the stop when your student gets on and off the bus. If no one is there at drop-off, and we cannot reach you, your student will be taken back to school.
To waive this requirement, contact the Transportation Office in writing.
If You Move…
Submit a new transportation form if you move. It may take 3-5 business days to process.

*Use of Surveillance Equipment on School Vehicles*
The Keystone Central School District Board has adopted Policy 810.2, authorizing the use of video and audio recording equipment on school vehicles to support a safe and orderly environment for all passengers. Surveillance equipment may be utilized on buses and district vehicles used for daily transportation, field trips, curricular activities, and extracurricular events.
Students, staff, and parents/guardians should be aware that both audio and visual monitoring occurs on these vehicles. Recordings may be reviewed by school officials to address disciplinary or safety concerns and may be shared with law enforcement or used in school disciplinary proceedings as necessary.
All individuals riding school vehicles should understand that their actions and conversations may be recorded. By using district transportation, passengers acknowledge and consent to the recording of audio and video for safety and security purposes. Privacy should not be expected while on board school vehicles.
